Escape the hustle of Ho Chi Minh City and explore the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-recognized natural destination.

Enjoy a scenic ferry ride, discover Monkey Island and its wild macaques, and take a speedboat through the lush mangrove waterways to the historic Rung Sac Guerrilla Base. Complete your journey with a visit to a local seafood market and a delicious lunch featuring fresh local seafood, including grilled crab and bird’s nest soup.

Itinerary:

08:30 – Pick-up at your hotel/residence (Pick-up time may vary depending on sea level conditions)

10:30 – Arrive at the Mangrove Forest Park.

              Take a speedboat to the Rung Sac Special Military Zone.

               Enjoy learning about the ecology and behavior of long-tailed macaques, as well as crocodile fishing (available on weekends only).

12:30 – Visit the local seafood market (Experience a vibrant coastal market and discover the day’s fresh catches from Can Gio fishermen)

13:00 – Lunch featuring Can Gio–style grilled crab and a bird’s nest soup, bird nest soup, made with locally sourced ingredients (1 bottle of mineral water including)

14:00 – Return to Ho Chi Minh City

16:00 - Drop off at your hotel/residence

  • Guests who fail to arrive at the meeting point within 10 minutes of the scheduled departure time and do not notify us in advance will be considered a no-show. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
  • Please provide your hotel name and address in advance so we can review and confirm your pickup arrangements. Guests may be required to make their own way to the designated meeting point if necessary.
